Following the success of our Book Club, launched last year, we are excited to announce its expansion and introduce an English Book Club at ololoYurt!
You will get all the perks of our much beloved original Book Club gatherings - now in English with an opportunity to engage in intellectually stimulating conversations with a diverse audience from all over the world.
Our first speaker is Janara Kangeldieva, a cross-cultural communication and management consultant and lecturer, who helps individuals master intercultural communication skills and acquire the knowledge necessary for smooth relocations.
Janara will review “The Culture Map” by Erin Meyer, - an essential guide for anyone interested in intercultural communication. She will discuss the author’s strategies mentioned in the book for navigating cultural differences in both professional and personal settings.
During the presentation you will gain practical advice on adapting your communication styles, understanding decision-making processes, effectively collaborating across diverse cultural backgrounds, and many more.
